Firaxis Website Down, Is Today the Day? Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

Hey, I haven't been able to log-on to either the Firaxis Webpage or the Firaxis Civ3 Website for a little while now.

Is today the day of Dan's new Civ3 webpage? He said this was to be the same webpage used for the actual game launch, so how far away could the game be?

Both sites are loading for me fine right now, but I do have T3 broadband connection, so...

They have to be updating soon, because an ad in the new TCG gives http://www.civ3.com as the game website. Check it out at this thread.

Possibly the trouble accessing the firaxis site was due to the big bad fire/explosion in Baltimore. Not sure how far from Baltimore the Firaxis office or server is but this could very well be the reason for the up and down state of the site. I heard reports that some fiber optic lines were damaged due to the fire.
