	Saved Game Loads with Me as Wrong Nation!?! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

This pathetic Save Game feature has Loaded me as the wrong nation! (Not the first time this has happened).

Kinda nice since in the Impossible game its the year 2000 and my puny little nation (with a swarm of spys trying to catch up in tech) is lame and I got loaded as the baddest ass nation on the planet.

But I loved my puny little nation!

OK, I've got a saved game that loads correctly from 30 years ago, but I want the latest. If this is going to keep happening I wanna know if anyone has found a way to prevent it or to remedy the situation once the deed is done.

HELP!

(oh yeah, btw, the activision support site is just peachy eh?)

That is kinda of weird. Has never happen to me. If you want just go in to the cheat editor and load up you player number. The score should not matter to you too much since a lot of the numbers are messed up anyway.

Are you using the automatic save game function. Just save the years yourself. Much easier, no bugs.

This happens when you save the game during the other civ's turn. To prevent it, either save the game only on your turn or use the autosave feature.

To get back, like Engineer said, you can open the cheat editor, and scroll back to player 1.

Do you usually use cheat mode? Once when i was about to quit from the game, i wanted to see how the AI was going and i entered in cheat mode. when finished looking the AI i forgot tp scroll back to my civ (player 1). and saved the game as another civ .
Any chance that this could have happen to you?

I get impatient during the AI turn sometimes and probably saved then.

I don't use the Autosave feature nor have I entered Cheat mode. I'm pretty green on the Civ games. Totally digging the Apolyton Pack on Gigantic Maps though!!!
