Due to an observation from Deity in his own Tourney game about a replacement player, I am going to ask you guys to play a 3 player game. The point structure will remain as for a 4 player game with the missing player assumed to take 4th place. That way, no one will lose the opportunity to get as many points as the winners of the other groups.

I believe that Bravelaker has the game map. Since I lost my map files (grrr), I will need that one sent back to me so I can make adjustments to it.

Does that sound like it will work?

I just realize what Cavebear mean by " 3 players as if 4". 3 players mean all of you will get into next round automatically. But 4 players means, there is a chance, although very small, one of you can't get into next round.

First, I should point out that the idea of the last-place player being eliminated was dropped, so no one need worry about that. When I mentioned 3 as if 4, I meant that the non-existant 4th player would be assumed to take last place.

Second, I should state some reservations about having a non-tourney player in a tourney game. It has been pointed out to me that a non-tourney player will not have the same concerns that a tourney-player will. Even one who deliberately (and honorably) tried to achieve last place toward the end of the game would affect the positions of tourney players.

Sekong - I do thank you for your offer to play, and I am in no way implying you would not try your best in the game. I just think it creates too many complications.

Bravelaker, Carnide, and Cybershy - Please play the game as 3 players. I am sending a 3-player map to Bravelaker.
