While checkers may be a great, simple game thats enjoyable for the leisurely player, it isn't chess........Much like 2x2x games may be a source of entertainment for those looking for a simple game, it just isn't a real game of civilization.....

I think you guys are all a bunch of morons. And considering the fact I can beat all of you on all the other settings and I think 2x2x small map is the hardest, I think my opinion has more weight.

Call to Power says civ on it, but it's a load of crap. You can put the word civ on just about any game Ming, but I think we all know how the game civilization was originally designed to be played. Saying civ is civ is like saying wine is wine or food is food, or a movies a movie.

Obviously you're right though, this is definetly a snobby sort of thread. I'll gladly admit to being a civ snob. I like the original, the classic, the standard, however you want to word it. I don't like silly options and I don't like bells and whistles. Give me my civ straight up, not watered down

I dont like 2x2x nor do i like 2x1x which is a very popular way to play.. I also dont like duels , it too is very popular. some dont like 5 billion yr old worlds as it interfers with there Demograohics Study so to speak....

Sid gave all the easier options so people could still enjoy the game till the learn to master it at Deity level, raging hordes, 1x1x large world (min 100x100) 7 Civs all Human !!!!!!

Now you can publish your results and say "100% of those polled agree that 2x2x duels are limited or not civ at all."

I have a question though, if its not civ what would you call it. Maybe that could be another poll where you give us 3 or 4 options to choose from - all of which are similiar.

PS I hate 2x2x duels but they are civ.

PPS - Just because 2x2x duels on your premade map is your setting Eyes doesn't mean it is the hardest. That is as one sided of an opinion as this poll. I think if u really thought about it you would agree that:
a) "hardest" is subjective and varies from person to person
b) what is hardest to someone is what they are comparatively worst at thus making 2x2x the easiest level for you.
