Smash, agreed. It didn't deserve what it got. But then whenever Eyes is involved, things get blown out of proportion pretty quick around here. Mine and Ming's games were never put to that type of scrutiny. (we didn't care, of course, we did it just to irritate each other, which we're quite good at)


And I did just post something about it
I was interested to see what other's thought. And figured that it was about time I did.


Actually since he took it to the extreme, we've never seen quite that starvation factor, but it does extrapolate out from what we experienced. I didn't study it in detail because I knew it was possible. Xin predicted some of the theoretical highs, which were close to what ming and I estimated. This game fell well within that limit. Higher is possible, but I'd shoot myself first.

I have asked this before, and beleive that firmly that the experts for checking for high scores and cheats are in the civ 2 general area.The people here mostly specialise in MP and they are some of the best at that. If anyone has an MP question or thinks someone cheated at MP game feel free to bring it up here, but surely the real Experts for SP are at Civ 2 General Forum...

I am sorry to bring this up again, but I think it is the truth...

I once played a game just to see how high a score I could get and then compared the score to a list I found here at Apolyton and discovered my effort was about 1/10th of what others were getting and I literally said to myself, "to hell with this", The map I used was just a large random map produced by the game, not one like this guy used to produce the game in "question", but his score would still make any attempt by me look ridiculous. It truly was a pain to play that game so it does take a special constitution to play these sp games for high score.

RAS, no one cares what you think, If MP players want to hear about what other MP players think, what's your problem. MP players are more familiar with checking saves for cheats. Most SP players have never looked at a game checking for cheats. So go pad your post count with irrelavent posts somewhere else.

And I guarentee that your bud got more support here (myself included) then he would have gotten in another forum. The people in this forum are more familiar with Eyes. So if it was a political trick, it was a bad one. I guess that makes you 0-3

Umm as far i am aware I have never got abusive with you Rah so i dont see why you are doing so to me.
You obviously dont like me and take personal gratitude in belittleing everytihng i post. I however have never and hopefully never will stoop to that depth. I post what I feel, as do others here, but because I post an opinion differne to yours doesnt make it irrelevant. At least one other person agreed with me, I may be in the minority, but minoritys are not irelevent.

Eyes is harldy what i would call a MP player, he rarely if ever plays anymore, he posted this here to get support of his accusations that got him banned from another forum. As the game in question is whole heartedly a SP game it involves intracacies that the Specialists there would be aware of.

Yes some great SP players liekm yourself and Ming are also MP players and have mastered the game well to a point where you know the problems associated with end time. But you must agree that lots of SP people dont come here and problaby never will they love the SP game, which is good for them. They may not know cheats when they see it, but they sure know wha tthe game can and cannot be made to do. They built the Great library full of all sorts of info tha tI am very greatful for. So please dont say they wouldnt know whether what has trascribed in this game is a chea tor not, because they would certianly know.

I probalby will get in trouble again for responding to this, anything I do seems to be wrong in the eyes of the twins !!!

I don't dislike you RAS, I just dislike how much you post in terms of your lack of contribution to the topics under discussion. There is nothing worse than checking a thread because there was a new post only to find another of your silly attempts to pad your post count. You had already mentioned that you didn't think this discussion belonged here on page one. Why did you feel necessary to post it again. We ignored you the first time, what made you think the response would be any different this time?

The "twins" are obviously not the only one that feel this way based on the responses from others that follow your posts. I can count at least a half a dozen other posters that feel similar.

On the other hand, some of your posts are positive contributions, and if you increased those types of responses and decreased the crap, I think everyone would look forward to reading your posts.

First, this is the forum that Eyes was accused of cheating in, so I have no problem with him raising a similar issue here. Almost every discussion on a player cheating has appeared in this forum, and not in the general or strategy forum.

Second, as I mentioned in my previous post, I have no problem with him asking MP'ers their opinion on the subject.

Case Closed on that subject.

While you are welcome to your opinion, there is no need to keep brining it up and disrupting the topic of this thread. If you have a complaint, make it to the Admin...
Bring it up again in this thread, and you will indeed be trouble.

This is hilarious... I will have to come here more often to get my laughs..since Eyes is banned at CFC.

Shadowdale is a nice guy. I seriously doubt if he would cheat at something like this. I think he might drink too much of that good beer, which is so superabundant in Denmark ( yep... I am jealous ) .
