Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Well..now occ has evolved some since then.We were kind of in the dark compared to now.
Its nice isn't it?Knocking 80 years off your date that is.

My 1st game following the now old fashioned policy I knocked 60 odd years off my best game.Paul said his fee was $1 per year gained.I owe him a small fortune

Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

I don't know. My first two (1 failed, 1 successful) attempts at Deity I followed Paul's advice to the letter. I don't think his method is optimal, however. There's a great deal to be said for getting Republic as early as possible and ignoring Monarchy completely. Nevertheless, it's true that by following his guide, you actually have a formulaic and fairly efficient route to OCC success.
