Well, while im here, maybe someone could answer a few questions for me.


My bros MAC cant connect to my PC to play via LAN. Is this typical?
What modifications(if any) need to be made?

I believe all that is needed is a TCP/IP game over ethernet. Just make sure the network settings are set up right on both machines.

Thanks Ashman, problem solved. It was actually due to a firewall

Now what about MAC Pbem? Is it compatible with any PC? Or can a MAC only play PBEM with another MAC?

Sorry, no one is really in this forum cept you,just thought ide ask... as we still have varoius tech issues.

FG, you need the transmogrifier if you want to play PBEM games with a Mac-PC relationship.

And End is forever, we collect dust on the CivII and CTP threads, you're right, but there are some good games running over in the SMAX threads, so it's not a total loss... how fair, or organized, would it be to reduce Mac users to just one thread? They're doing a good job here at 'poly of at least giving Mac users a feeling of being respected (even if we're not very much.)
