ADCT01 Game C, Fall 1904 Moves Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

For those of you who missed it in the other thread, Kurt Reutter is taking over the position of Turkey while Taurus is occupied. His e-mail is zutlan@hotmail.com

In the east, the more things change, the more they stay the same. The Russians are exactly where they were one year ago, and the same for the Austrians with the exception of a fleet move from Greece to the Eastern Med. Italy still sprawls farther across the board than usual for its size, and this year has seen the virtual disintegration of the German state, with the Kaiser holed up in a bunker in Berlin.

Winter builds are due on Thursday, and Spring 1905 moves are due on Sunday.

Power Ranking
1. England- Every year in this game England has gotten exactly 1 build. Slow and steady wins the race they say- at this rate, England will solo in, oh, 1915.

2. France- Big and allied with the biggest power on the board. While this Italian war probably won't be too quick, France definitely has potential for expansion, and it seems that the English will be loyal for some time with the Italian advance on English waters.

3. Austria- I'll admit that moving armies into and out of Rumania is healthy and good exercise, but it could be a bad habit to get into if this becomes a pattern every year. On the bright side, some real progress against Turkey might be possible next year.

4. Italy- Hopefully Italy has not peaked this year, but a war against both France and England might be a bit more than Italy can chew. Perhaps some sort of deal could get get English help in Germany, or else perhaps even having the French move in to help against Austria in exchange for aid against the other?

5. Russia- The Russian wall has held, although an oppurtunity against Rumania was lost this season. Russia is moderately safe for now with the withdrawal of Austria from Galacia, but will it ever embark upon expansion again?

6. Turkey- Constantinople can hold, but unfortunately things look bad for Smyrna. Russia might be able to aid a successful attack on Rumania in Fall, should it be able to sneak into Galacia. But that might comprimise Con's defense next fall. Hmm.

7. Germany- Barring divine intervention, Germany will be dead within the year.
