	Switching languge Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Hello Forum!

I've got a problem that much reminds of an thread where a person wanted help to switch from German to English.
My problem is a little bit trickier. I bought a copy of 'Ultimate Civilization II Classic Collection while I was in France. I think it's named 'Civilization II Multiplayer Gold' in it's original. I thought that like in the original CivII there should be an option to select which language you wanted to play the game in during the installation. However no such option appeared. I've also checked the .txt and there is only .fre files. Your recommendation has in other cases been to switch those files. However since I can't do that I wondered if anybody that had the same game but in the english version could send those files.
I don't have nay major problems with the french language since I've studied it. But many scenarios tend to screw up because of this change in language.

All it takes is someone to copy their .txt files and zip em up and send it.There is not that many really.Should take maybe 10 minutes.

I would but...mine is mac and there is a few files that are different.I don't want to send just the ones that are the same.That would leave you hanging.

Well, that's what I hoped somebody would do. From what I have figured so ain't those files too big.
Bad luck that you couldn't send them. I do have the PC version.

Indeed, you need to copy the .txt files into. fre, 'cause the french version of the game will only read the .fre
I've already done that for myself and would gladly send you the final work
Just send me your e-mail.
In fact your only problem, might be that my files are for my no-limits patch. But it is only bonus and doesn't alter the game at all

And I think Hotmail is able to receive files up to 1 MB so there should be no problem. I would be very grateful if both up you could send the files if one set wouldn't work.

Here they are, zipped of course.
If you want it to work fine, you need to install either :
MGE 1.3 international version !
Or my no-limits add-on (1.3+gigamaps)
Both of them are available in the Apolyton Database.

Which files do you need? BTW, I have the original (1996) and multiplayer. Not Gold. Wonder if that matters.

2) Je suis très occupé avec le grand jeu-concours organisé par les Gits ('Come, laugh at the SGs'). Je viens de terminer la conquête du monde et je crois bien que je vais tenter le lancement du vaisseau spatial vers Alpha du Centaure.
