The Space Race to Alpha Centauri Suffering from ads?

Does anyone know what the best configuration is for your "spaceship." I usually don't have to big of a problem beating the other civs to this point but I usually get close to the maximum number of components, modules, and structural pieces.

There has got to be a better design.
