Well I just tried to log on to the Trade Wars 2002 TELNET Server. I was actually able to log on but that's as far as it went. I got the message that the game was "closed." But hey, at least Firaxis' Telnet Server is up - That's better than last week.

Maybe Dan is working on resetting it....*Wittlich crosses his fingers and hopes*

I sent dan a nice email with these settings, just to let him know we are still interested and what we want. Hopefully we can have a game going this weekend

Inflate your Upload Space

I hate to re-open this thread, but, based on the number of pre-registered users, and the fact that last time we only got around 12 people playing, I think that the number of sectors and ports should be reduced.

I also think that, to keep things even, corps should be set to size 1, so that we don't have one corp of 3 players, one corp of 2, and 2 single traders in the game -- gee, I wonder whom will win.

Everyone for themselves, if you can make deals to better your position, so much the better. But deals can be broken, etc, etc.

Let's not regulate this game to the point of absuridity!

OK, ok, I'll get off my soap-box!

How about 2500 sectors, 1000/800 ports?
