Let me first post my email conversation with Alex to make things clear about his scenario and what is happening. I am in italics and he is in quotes:

Your site still does not work. I think it might be the Russian server at
www.chat.ru If you want you can still send me the scenario to post on my

I am posting a thread at Apolyton right now to see if your site can be
accessed by other people. Keep close to your email, I will reply in a day or
two with the results.


So here is the thing Alex has the scenario finished to the contrary of Techumseh's thoughts So check if you can get to http://karthago.chat.ru thorugh this link or through www.aha.ru/~mor Alex really wants to release the scenario just on his site, so please reply with your results... BTW it hasn't worked for me

This is very strange. i can't get karthago.chat.ru and neither can Case who has high speed internet access.

Jay Bee and Master on High: What type of connection are you using? Does the site load up quickly? How is the scenario?

Downloaded it. It's 1.56 MB in size. I can ask Alex for permission to post it at TSCIIS but if he said he wants people to d/l it only from his site, I'm afraid I can't do much else.

I can't acess either of those pages from my 56K home connection, or lightning fast university connection
Both use MS Internet Explorer, so I wonder if thats the problem?

This may be unethical, but could someone email the scenario to me? My address is nick_dowling@hotmail.com
My hotmail mailbox can only take 1 meg, so you'd have to split it up first...

Sorry to be a nasty git but it worked fine on my computer and i only have a crappy 56k modem hehe. both links worked fine and just because i could ui downloaded it twice. im just going to play it now.

I can´t even access http://www.chat.ru So I reckon that´s where the problem is. At what time did you access the site, JB, SH and FMK?

Well, nevermind... I was just curious about the site and its problems... I don´t think I´ll be playing the scenario anyway.
If I ever fully get into playing scens, I´ll have enough scenarios to keep me busy for a while. (Yours for instance )

I already got two requests, and as the file is rather large, I'm trying to send it to as many people as possible at a time. So please don't consider ignoring this offer and request yourself, but take this into consideration. You will receive this file either this evening or tomorrow noon.

I have sent the scenario to The ANZAC and two others. You should consult him to forward the scenario to you, because it took me ca. ten minutes to get it over, perhaps he can make it faster. Further, I'm trying to contact Sun Tzu, maybe he can convince Alex to let others publish the scenario. I'm not gonna contact Alex myself because I'm not going to put it up on my site, so that'd be kinda silly. Sun Tzu however speaks for Civfanatics, and since this is a large site, he could move Alex.

OK, I dled it and am playing it. Is this the finished model? I captured Moscow and the other city that's supposed to let you build machin guns, but I can't build either machine guns or armored cars yet!
