	How do I make a Map for Multiplayer? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

I have been playing CTP 1 & CTP:2 since they both came out. I do some modding, VERY minor compared to the great modders here I may add!

What I like doing is playing CTP on MP and play on the ipx feature..kinda like single player but with the options available in MP, that is the ability to "EXCLUDE" units,city improvements and wonders.

What I am looking to do is make my own map, and use it in a MP game.

I understand if I do this playing with others, they would also need this, but I am mostly looking to to play with me as only human.

Could someone tell me the correct procedure and file path I need to store it in?

Not sure about CTP2, but in CTP there are instructions in the readme about doing this very thing. You'll only have the appropriate readme if you've upgraded to v1.2.

But, in summary:

Use the cheat mode dialog to arrange the terrain and start locations as required, then use the 'save as scenario' button, giving it an appropriate name and using the filename savegame.csg

Now, put savegame.csg in the ...\scenarios\***\scenXXXX\ directory as required, and add the appropriate text files in for the scenario pack & scenario. Make sure the scenario title in the text file is exactly the same as the name you gave to the scenario.

I seem to remember that there was a program somewhere that would changte maps between different formats like Civ2->CTP, but I'm not entirely sure... and I don't know where you'd find it.
