Despite Australian pollution being at it's lowest level in living memory, a global environmental catastrophe seems imminent The biggest impact is expected to be low-lying areas, but which ones?? Australia seems relatively safe, but the fear is that Australia might suffer alone, as has happened in alternate universes!

Australia has done just about all it can to reduce pollution in terms of recycling plants and nuclear plants, so owes it's significant pollution to the sheer size of the country and it's population, yet Rome, with far less people and land, have nearly as much in total population, which amounts to far greater pollution per capita than Australia. We can only assume that it's a result of Rome's Communism. Therefore Australia suggests that Rome consider reverting back to democracy, giving it's people liberty in the process.

Let it be known to the world that if any nation is drastically affected by rising sea levels, we shall be held no more responsible than any other country. It is worth noting here that much damage was done by rogue nations of the past, such as India, and their environmental legacy lingers with us.

BTW, Tweety, don't worry about your timing being inappropriate, because it wasn't. I had already played a turn in another game, but i couldn't bring myself to attack anything. I must say that i was deeply distressed at tuesday's events, and hope in vain that the world can learn from this - not just most of us (because most of us didn't need the lesson), but ALL of us. We can only hope.

In the former capitol of Rome, the first recycling plant started its engines. This plant is now received scrap and other waste from several surrounding cities.

Rome is neither very happy to see a flood - we do know we are close to the limit, playing with several million of lifes. But the nation demands, that we maximise our production as close to the limit as we dare.

Only with reluctance, we waste good production on recyclings plants and other things like those - but we will do this where it can't we avoided.

Once again, I have been forced into public by those marketing-fanatics, just to dig the first dirt away where some "generous" people have planned a new recycling plant.

Also, they have had a great breakthrough in science. In my great wisdom and grace, this knowledge have been offered the rest of the world in exchange of the smallest possible return.

We know for sure, that the australians also do know about this technical advances - but they didn't care pass such an important knowledge on, as in their minds their allies are - at best - a pain in their as.!

It may be too late to avert a catastrophe, but the imminent discovery of a secret source of power may limit further environmental damage. Australian scientists believe that they are on the verge of a breakthrough into the secrets of fusion power!

We are still unsure of what advance the Romans are referring to, but prior irresponsibility by a cretain ally is most likely the cause of the technology being withheld. Furthermore, it was uncertain whether even our allies could control the power and the inherent potential for disaster that goes with the technology.

It would seem that Australian scientists have the "worst-case scenario" in their calculations, as their two years is rather conflicting with other nations' scientists who predict that this environmental catastrophe is much, much further away.

This is good news, as it will give us time to build our network of fusion plants which should reverse the current trends entirely, at least within Australian parameters. The first fusion plant is currently under construction, so the world waits to see if the theory actually works in practice.

However, the world's developed nations must not let their guard down, as environment seems to be playing second fiddle to military prowess in certain countries

ZERO TURNS TO CATASTROPHE!!

Some sections of the Australian scientific establishment have predicted an imminent breakdown of the global climate with unknown consequences! It is suspected that the recent sudden rise in pollution from Rome is to blame

The Federation of Australian Recycling Technologies (F.A.R.T.) has released a report listing the largest polluting cities on Earth, which cites that Roman cities make up 7 of the top ten culprits, and 10 of the top 13!! Rome has the technology to recycle and has nuclear power. Australia suggests that Rome use them

The imminent global breakdown will at least give us an idea of exactly what is likely to happen in the future. This will also determine what course of action, if any, may be required if Roman pollution gets out of hand.
