I don't believe that that formula is correct for Civ II. It is from Civ I and it contradicts some of the stuff I have seen in my games. I believe that 2.67 or so techs = 1 point on the power graph for instance whereas for that formula it would be 1 tech = 8 points on power graph. Anyone have a link to a more recent thread?

Somebody recently posted a link to some other site where there's a clear explanation that supports you. Sorry I don't have time to find it right now. Search for "power graph" in posts during the last 30 days.

Weird God: Are you saying vet units effect the power graph? Non vet ones don't seem to I don't see why vets would.

It's population, by far.
Which makes the graph, especially with Pyramids built, bogus.
When a newbie, I tried playing League games.
Always heard, we'll play until 1 A.D.
Boom, somebody builds Pyramids and done deal.
Tribes? A different thing.
