Starting year is 2102 (I played 2101 with no unit movement in order to set passwords)

If you remember the original game, I gave the Hive The Empath Guild. To do so, I needed to start the Hive with a base (to put the Guild in).

Hence he has population (x 1.5 'cos of the EG itself) and thus votes.

I'm in the prior version of this game and just happened to notice this thread. It's been a very good game so far; you'll love it. Googlie will probably tell you that you're all gonna get killed, but I bet you know what to tell him back.

Axis: The Drones have airpower and all 4 computers are now fighting me. I will keep them busy and minus a few crawlers/formers to the planes until we get air power.

I've been building a scenario for the past few months (intermittently) based on the Harry Turtledove alternate history novels (the four 'balance' ones and the three 'colonisation" ones)

Usurpers as The Race, with other factions being the US, Britain, Germany, Russia, China and Japan.

For those not familiar with the novels, an alien race's advance warfleet (in advance of its colonists convoy) visits earth in 1943. Imagine F16's against Hurricanes and Mustangs, and laser weapons against line-of-sight rifles and Abrams tanks.

Only thing going for the earthlings is that they have an unlimited supply of manpower and weapons, however primitive, whereas the Aliens' supplies are finite. So it will be in the scenario.

Simulation will pit fission needles (read Hurricanes and Mustangs) against singularity jets (read F16's)

Getting close to completion. Only way to win will be for all six humans to join together and defeat the Aliens before the subspace generators get built.

Will need playtesters before it gets released as a full fledged scenario. Interested?

Well, so much for my powers of observation. I didn't even realize we had a thread for this game.

The Drones have landed on an arid and rocky parcel of land. Fortunately, we were able to pop a pod with a monolith and were able to find a mineral deposit close to our second base location. We now have three cities up and running and are trying to get three more Colony Pods outfitted and prepared to establish three more bases.

I didnt have time to post yesterday. Bye the time I finished the turn I had at least 2 other turns waiting for me. Plus with the e-mail problems I didnt want to open any extra windows if I didnt need to. (Randy, we played over 30 turns between all 5 games in a short period of time. Games involving all three of us were at least 16 turns.) That was a lot of fun.

Unlike my other 4 games I actually had a decent starting location. I have 3 bases, 1 recycle tank and should have 2 formers my next round. I'm waiting to get to population 2 at one of my bases so I can get a colony pod. want to put a base on the holy grail square and see the results.

Hi guys! I will not be posting to this thread very frequently. I will post key events and fill in the storyline from time to time. However, we are playing at such a quick pace that I do not feel the necessity of posting the passing of every turn.

You know how to reach me if you think the game is lost, but I don't think we will have that problem.
