	List of FANSITES Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

I think that in the many years since Alpha Centauri's release, many, many fansites that sprang up. I think that there should be a thread here, at Apolyton, which will give a list of all fansites so everyone can visit them and everyone can share even more of the SMAC "experience". Preferably, this thread should be labeled "Top".

you guys nailed all the others I know about. the unfortunate thing is that there used to be several more active SMAC sites that have now closed down. so if there are any other active sites out there, I sure would like to visit them!

does anyone know if Mike Johnson is still running his site? the old one is shut down, but that may just be due to graduation.

	Fansite Question... Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

I have recently started my own homepage, and wanted to put some Alpha Centauri content on it. (I have not already - so don't bother visiting) I was just curious if on your fansite you are allowed to use the in-game art work. And if you are allowed, do you put something like 'copyright Firaxis Games' under each picture?

Please excuse my extreme retardedness on this matter. But I do think someone should keep this thread bumbed regularly, because it is really useful.

Alynzia, I don't think so, because (just using the site as an example) when you look at the Node TV at the Network Node, you will see many original SMAC graphics used in many humourous ways! I myself will include many "Firaxis" graphics but will not give copyright BUT I will say that the site is a fan site to "one of the best ever strategy games: Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire Expansion Pack". But I remmember that the Chironian Guild has a "Credits/Legal" page, but I've never visited it so I need to

Anyway thanks for reminding me to check this issue up before I go along and get banned everywhere I go

BTW the mod is itself finished, it is just me adding more of the in-game graphics and testing it whether it is top-notch or whether factions are overpowering. Which brings to mind something else - should I run a public beta test, like Smack (or as he's known nowardays - Avenoct ) ? I'd like to, but I'll post later, on another thread...

ANd how is STS9 mod doing?

well, i suggest to give it to some ppl which can test it for you. instead of public beat-testing i prefer to come up with a full version. but that's just my personal opinion

btw, i upped a bunch of new screens, you should get an impression how the tc will be (despite the fact that all screen texts are in german )
