The following announcement has been released by UrbanWittCo:

UrbanWittCo is currently in mourning over the untimely demise of our Company's co-founder, Urban Ranger.

To honor Urban Ranger's life and achievements, UrbanWittCo has stepped down all revenge strikes against aggressive corporations in order to mourn this great loss to UrbanWittCo.

UrbanWittCo has contacted Urban Ranger's son, also named Urban Ranger. Urban Ranger Jr. has decided to assume his father's responsibilities at UrbanWittCo. Urban Ranger is scheduled to arrive at UrbanWittCo within a few days.

UrbanWittCo requests a moment of silence to honor our fallen comrade.

Out of curiosity, does urbanwittco want to negotiate a non-agression pact including figs? S>A has refrained from attacking deployed urbanwittco figs, but you continue to molest ours. When can we get back to the business of friendship?

I could be wrong, but, as I understand it, you invaded their home sector, took their planets, killed a few of their ships, and then worked to help pod and destroy Urban Ranger.

Is it just me, or does this not sound like a good situation to be asking for a non-agression pact out of? :|

well I would think it would be for precisely those reasons that they should sign a pact at this time. It will give them the liberty of peace to rebuild, and prevent any further losses that they can obviously not afford.

How can I be diplomatic about this? Let me see...hmmm, I can't, so I'll be straight forward.

Aeturneus, remember what you did? Weren't you asking for a possible alliance with UrbanWittCo (right after Apolyton Corp discovered For-Axis - or how ever it's spelled), then, out of the blue, you invade our home sector?

We wonder now how much your word is really worth...

As we've stated before, prior to any pacts being signed, what are you going to do about our home sector first?

Concerning your statement of UrbanWittCo continuing to attack your "toll" fighters, I have not attacked your assets today, I paid the going rate and moved on. Now if Urban Ranger has attacked your fighters today...well, what can I say? You killed his Father! What's a few figs compared to that? I will not get involved with family matters.

I realize my response is not very diplomatic, but at least I'm honest .

The ball is not in our court, it's in yours. Give us back our home sector, we will be happy to hold formal discussions on such matters. Remember that you destroyed two of our ships and repeatedly invaded our home sector.

Phew! It must get pretty hot living up there on the sun. Does my Jolly Meal come with a free sun shade? Or how 'bout an ice cold glass of macburbelade to tide me over for the trip back home?

Perhaps you should consider renaming your Jolly Meals to Toasty Meals, "guranteed burnt to a crisp or your next one's free!"
