I concur with the sentiments expressed in this thread. Having been here for a year, I deserve a custom Avatar, especially since I lost some posts in a server crash/change (can't remember the exact cirumcstances) a while back too! I even had a great Avatar picked out and scaled down to size, but I still need 75 posts . . . But remember, there are poor people on other webboards who can't even have non-custom avatars, so you'd better finish your broccoli.

I want a custom avatar too. This may be encouragement for us 'newbies' to spam... but did we ever need such encouragement?

Gosh, I wish it was 500 or more posts, registered for over a year OR you can pass for any three AC faction leaders so you can have your our custom avatar.

I just noticed this when I tried to change my custom avatar. If I ever want to update it again, I see I'm going to have to work my way up to 500 posts. Like many other old timers, I'm mostly a lurker.

If you are mostly a lurker, you do not often post, therefore no-one will likely see your avatar, and so you don't really need one. Problem solved.

Although on principle you should have the right to a custom avatar.
