My buddy is NOT a drinker. Came home from the bar, loaded, and smacked his computer cuz it kept toasting him at games he would 'normally' win.
Bad news -> Dead computer.
Good news-> I now have ALOT more software...
Got civ2, CiC, and Walnut Creek's Toolkit for Civ2.
I can destory the AI at deity, so have decided to try to challenge myself by creating a custom scenario.
Idea - Have 7 civs each on their own medium sized island. But the computer civs will start with a few cities and a few units; I'll start normal.
Problem - Used map editor to create a good map, placed starting positions. Started game on premade world with intentions to cheat, modify and save as scen. HOW can I give a computer more cities? In map editor, it's only starting position, and you can only do it once per civ... Couldn't figure out how to place cities in cheat menu.
(I never got anything but the original civ2 manuals)
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx for the help. I just figured that part out about a half an hour ago, but I thought there MUST be a better way...
Are you telling me that all tehse scenarios I've played with 150 cities, etc, the designers all did THAT to create them??
OUCH!
And what do you think 29a stands for?? (Actually, when I registered, it wouldn't accept my hotmail address, so I got mail at go.com that doesn't work. So I used something else, and can no longer be Mantis, as someone else (me at go.com that will never receive my PW) has it... Yes, it's my age, and no, 'a' does not stand for that...

Ok, thanks for the help! I appreciate it. And no, I wasn't aware of that hex.dec number... Bizarre. What are the odds I'd pick that one! It's hotmail's fault, if forced me to do it!
