How many units can you have in Civ2? Is it determined by the amount of spaces in the Units.gif file?

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39.....

It all depends on the version you have.

If you were just kidding, disregard the previous statement.

I bet when you first started customizing units, you had many questions that seemed elementary to people who'd been doing it for a long time.

I was just making sure, to avoid unnecessary errors. My particular version allows 63 units.

Yeah, I'm always a smart-ass...

That was my days mindless sarcasm, although I'm still tired of people who ask questions with very obvious answers.

And I learned how to make units on my own. It took me eight months of on and off research to figure out how I could get it to work on my computer. I'm glad to answer any questions you have, but this one kinda got to me...
