I always thought it would be really cool if you could name rivers and mountains and even continents.

I don't think it would be too difficult to implement (in Civ 4 anyway).

I found that back when I tried to "catch up," it actually seemed to take longer to increase my post count. I stopped posting for a long while and when I came back (and didn't worry about posts) my count went way up. Now I'm very close to king without any effort.
