	The end is nigh OR mysterious numbers on Apolyton AC-Forums Support Apolyton, buy Civilization 2

11:00PM,
It twas late at night (actually only 11:00pm, still plenty of time for one more turn, right?)

After a session at Civ3-general I, for some reason went to the AC section of the Apolyton CS Forums page, and noticed something odd.
The Number of posts in AC-Creation was 2222 exactly.
Equally strange, the number of posts in AC-Multiplaying was 33330.
Chuckling to myself, I thought "Gee, all we need now is a 666"
The number of threads in AC-Multiplaying was 666!!
Egad! (so I took a screenshot of the page, and a HTML snapshot, resisting the urge to add 3 uselss posts to AC-Fiction)

Is there some great disturbance in the force!
What would happen if another 3 posts appear on AC-Multiplaying before any in AC-Creation!
Is this the second coming of planetmind! (or forewarning of the progies invasion of earth!)
Or should I just be restrained in a straight-jacket so I cant post on apolyton late at night!

apologize for my ignorance but what does 2222 and 33333 means? I know the number of the beast (666) from the bible but the other ones I don't have knowledge about.

2222 means 4 2's in a row.
33333 means 5 3's in a row

It's just an unusual conicidence.

What about reaching a point in Smac where you have 666 energy creadits and it is MY 2222!?! Of course, it must be a curse that you have that little at that point...

Well some roots of 666 are:

333*2
222*3

and my personal favorite:

(__666 _)
(__2*3 _) -- 3
------------------ = 1
3*2*3*2*3

which uses all the #'s, except for one 2. (222,33333,666 instead of 2222,33333,666)
