When I make a mistake, I admit it... and I have many times here.

When it comes to spam, it is a matter of opinion... and feel free to disagree... because it is opinion. And if you want to call somebody a nazi... fine, but expect what you are going to get in return. I close threads as part of my job... I don't call people a nazi. All he is doing is whining... like a spoiled brat. If he want's to insult me, he should expect some back.

Ming, I'm pissed off right now about a bunch of things going on in life.

So I came here to try to take my mind off of things and talk to a bunch of people, only to find my first thread coming back was deleted without warrant or reason.

You ARE biased. Else all personal threads will be closed.

I got some PM's here from people who were pissed at you. I have no intention of disclosing them, however that's an indication of how some posters feel about you on 'Poly.

Now, personal threads are a grey area. There is no rights and wrongs and I see Ming was merely using his discretion here. Given that he is human, it is understandable that he closes some posters' threads easier than others.

I see Irman's thread as completely legal, and all happy birthday threads are legal by precedents. There are all sorts of personal threads on the OTF as a matter of fact, asking for help for homework or computer troubles are typical. Are they personal? Yes. Do they serve a purpose? Yes.

I haven't read your thread so I can't tell if it serves a purpose. Announcing your own return doesn't cut it, however.

I have a whole bunch of complaints about Glonk/asher... He has pissed a lot of people off. So yes, his actions are watched far closer than other people who haven't had TONS of complaints about them. That's the way it is.

Again... he reaps what he sows... So he can whine all he wants, and it isn't going to change anything. When he starts showing some respect to other posters, then maybe he will get some respect in return.

I deleted your thread because it had turned into a spam fest, not because people don't like you. The other thread you started wasn't closed... WAS IT! The fact that people have complained about you only means that your actions are being watched more closely than other people. If you were in my position, you would do the same. It is our job to deal with situations when people complain... and you have logged more complaints than most people.

When people PM or start a thread on the subject of a closed or deleted thread, I will respond.

Which rule was broken? It was "spammy"? Who was hurt by this "spammy" thread? Nobody gained postcounts for posting in it, so I don't understand why you feel the need to stop people from posting in it. If people think it's spam, they don't have to read it.
