Well I think we may need to restart this game..... - First time I ever started a PBEM - and it was a bitof trying to work it out as I went along.....

FIRSTLY the two alliances are grouped - within three squares of each other so make sure you find each other quickly - AND IF ANY OF YOU find a rogue settler from original start locs please disband!!

The map is total land - total wet total goods - emporer, nukes allowed, erm - I set it to ruins only - I can redo it if anyone prefers - I can also run an ocean round start locs to isolate each of us if you prefer? I did not know how to exclude wonders, so we just don't use em yeh??

Remember win condition is decimation of one civ and capture of second capital -

ANYONE not happy, and I will restart it - as I say this is trial and error to me!

I think all team should fight against each others - no one participate in 2 or more teams. And no can choose anothers name or nationality.

Settings same for all.

Same winning conditions in all games.

Let the best team win - meaning we - the PBEM team - will

I think a third party should make the game, open up the cheat option and make sure all the civs are together and/or on the same side of the map.

Most interesting first turn I have ever had in CTP. To see my ally's capital from the start. Sure made it easier to decide which way to send my settlers.

Saddam - makes sense - So I will work on map between you and team PBEM, and if someone in team PBEM could work on map between Saddams team and Blackices Civleague team - Settings are total land total wet total goods, ruins only, donut, 5 settlers per team and a warrior- all start locs grouped so 2 teams of 4 within 2/3 squares of each other

Gav, could I ask for restart?

I got a position near Bird and of what I see Swissy got a position near Bird. Should I conclude that Lung will take position near Bird?
Having 24 settler all together could cause problems on expanding and fast start. I am sure that Bird will have huge problems expanding while having about 18 cities of his allies surrounding him.

To be honest - yes a little more room would be fine.

And second I think the players of the alliances should play as no. 1-3-5-7 and 2-4-6-8 in order to avoid a massive strike later in the game. Just as in TeamSpirit and TeamHorses.

Also I like the map settings. Sea will come later by flooding and as this world is all wet, there will be some major floodings later.

Yeh I agree 1000% we restart - with 1 3 5 7 settings and more room - Faded will u set up a map - and I will set up a map for faded versus team PBEM - Agreed??
