	Duke Nukem Forever? When Is It Out? Will It Be Any Good? Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Now I always enjoyed DN3D, and I hear that this game is due out relatively soon (took a bleeding long time mind you). Do any of you know anything about the game? When exactly is it due? Is it any good? From what I have seen of it so far, it looks pretty impressive!

It'll be out "When It's Done", my guess is within the next 8 months (but hey, that's what I thought early 1999 too )

What I know about it? It has vehicles. Lot's of them. And the screenshots looked really impressive. When they were released, now almost two years ago. They still look OK though.

Well let's face it, this saga has gone on for quite a long time. They ought to get on with releasing the game or forget it. Damn, didn't they start with using the Quake 2 engine or something?

one of my all time fav shootem up games.. in fact the only one i ever enjoyed, it mixed violence with humor and was excellant, expecially the R rated patches...... Carmen Electra !!!!!!

Well it's production cycle was insanely long, and it's lost a good deal of buzz, thanks to it. However it may be an excellent game content wise, graphically I wouldn't expect it to be great.

Personally Im much more interested in Return to Castle Wolfenstien, Soldier of Fortune 2, and Serious Sam 2.

DNForever will be a great game, no doubt about it. They've been working on it for such a long time that it simply can't be a dissapointment. I'm also interested in Doom 3 and can't wait for the Return to Castle Wolfenstein to come out.

A pity they didnt get this out quicker, I loved Duke 3D , th eolny shootem up game worth playing, I loved the ease of making your own world s and stuff....

I think it might have been the original Quake engine they first started off with, but it's been so long now that I forget.

Have you tried Serious Sam? It crashes on my machine, but it's amazing from what I've seen of it.
