Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

This is reminicent of the giant flag collection for modern and recent nation-states. (I saw that at the Great Icon Library.) Any plans to make them into CivII flags?

I have seen this webpage, it is nice but I prefer the FLOW, I believe that is less confusing.

To Marquis

Not exactly flags... Civ2 unit shields. In order to fit enough nations together, I had to merge two different kingdoms into one ( ex. Hannover + Britain under king George I, or Swiss, Assia and Denmark as neutrals ); so i have to identify "national" units, because hannoverian units differs from english ones.

To kIndal

Ditto for Marquis. I needed the biggest dettail as possible to draw these shields.
PS Spain shield is going to be a two-headed eagle on yellow field. Or am i doing something stupid? Hlp plz!

In that case I would suggest against a two-headed eagle. That was a Habsburg symbol.

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Infantry units still carried "St. Andrew" or "Burgundy" crosses in their flags at that time. I've got a picture that shows the "Regimiento de Cádiz" banner with a red cross over white background.

Put an end to popups!

I agree with Fiera. The Burgundy cross was used by the Bourbon trops as well. I have seen it over different backgrounds: white, yellow, pale red, and cyan. But I again concur with Fiera that white would probably be the most identifiable.

Grazie, Fiera!!! I saw something similar on Borbone's regiment flags. And Saluzzo Savoy infantry regiment used it, too , but with inverted colors - but i'll use standard Savoy cross for them. This means that Portoria's regiment of genoese grenadiers are goin' to use St' George's cross - the Genova' standard.
