Just when you thought the system requirements debate was over, I just found this titbit. For those of us with slower/older systems the reduction from DirectX8.0a to 7 would be most welcome. But is it true?
Yet another example of poor communication between Firaxis and Infogrames.

Firaxis's site still says Directx 8a. I'd be more inclined to believe them.
