Time to re-bang the Firaxis Tournament game! Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Good game, all who played. There were a couple of twists and turns, and I think that *everyone* learned a lot about Tradewars in the last game.

I know that I'm done (each planet in our little cluster now has full fuel ore, except for the volcanic with 500K), so we're safe from last minute counter attacks.

Everyone ready for a rebang? What stats do we want?

Put an end to popups!

600 turns, 20% port regen rate, Terra colonist regen rate as per aeturneus, 80% port trade agreement.

This should give evils sufficent room to run around in the next game

Inflate your Upload Space

30% port regen is a little bit better for non exploring peoples, but other than that I am in full agreement with urban

Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

Fine by me. By the way, are we going to keep the membership per corporation at 2? Or does anyone want to raise/lower it?

Figure I'd chime in; I'd go for 500-600 turns, 30% port regen seems best. 80-09% planetary trade percentage, to help the goods in the game, since I'm having fun being the evil player in Aeturneus' game.

I would say corp membership of 1-3 would be best; I can see a case for all of those. Perhaps a restricted corp scene, with different people in pre-determined (and group consensus) corps? We could sort of create a pre-registration list for corps.

Steal percentages higher than currently, Ferrengi and Aliens on, Ferrengal in plcae, "rainbow worlds" like Foor Axice? All things to be decided upon, don't forget the Cylons!

Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

Rainbow world are outta this game. The only reason burbel wants them is because he found one this game. "Rainbow worlds make the game totally unfair to the people who don't get them.

I'd like to explore the strategic possibilities of larger corps; for me, tradewars is getting a little stale - I've been good, I've been bad, and it tends to become quite rote and routine after a while. If we have 3 person corps, it gives more weight to the organizational integrity and strategic ability of the C.E.O. than a corporation of only two players, which is always more of a partnership.

BTW, we need more players in the next game, or a lot more money potential... that is all.

What do we think of the 2 teams of 5 approach - make this a teamwork game, more so than a partnership game, from the get-go?

I too am getting a little burnt out, maybe something different like this would be a good thing?

Not sure how we'd pick teams; I assume pick captains and then move through the ranks picking corpmates (might need a better system than that) from the pre-registration thread... Just a thought.

Or, it could be all the universe againt the evil me.

I was also thinking about the team combat approach. It sounds different.

It'd be good if we have at least 2 teams of five.

Suffering from ads?

No rainbow worlds and no starting planets for players. Too unbalancing.

burbel's mountainous planet in a tunnel would be much better than my vapourous one in a trade lane
