It seems like few posters here have good grace and form when addressing requests to administration, and their flattery skills are woefully deficient. Let me show you an example from another forum of an effective style in which to couch a request to Administration:
"O great and magnificent Thuderfall, puissant Grandmaster of CivFanatics. We have heard tale of upcoming further benefits, which you, in your unbounded munificence, have deigned to grant us, your humble followers. We have heard that you have most generously decided to grant to your unworthy flock, further user friendly attributes of this, your glorious oracle, the CivFantics Forums, That when we have entered one of our lowly but sincere post offerings to your glory, that we shall be returned to the bottom of the thread, and that when we click upon the name of the devotee who made the last reply on the topics page, we shall be instantly and rapturously transported to the bottom of thread, for we, your servants, all know, that the bottom is our proper place, when in your august presence."
Then Bada Boom, Bada Bing! we got the two new features.

That is true, but in a dangerous way. If you have a restaurant, it's yours, right? You can have the food and service as good or bad as you please. People vote with their feet and if you want your restaurant to flourish, you better hbave good food and service. Same goes for a website and a forum. If nobody posts anything, the forum is dead. If no one visits Apolyton, Markos might as well take it offline.
I have had no problems here. Markos and other mods have answered my questions well. They have been few and generally simple, but I am happy with their responses. Therefore I don't understand why CyberShy's question has not been answered, if it is as simple and innocent as stated above. I have not followed the thread, so I am judging from this one.
The Internet is a funny place. It's mostly free of charge, and it's world wide. There are more choices than any one person can make use of in a lifetime. If I had a website as popular as Apolyton, I would feel very grateful. I know it's hard work, but there is more to it than that. Apolyton is a community. As long as that community is a happy one, it will continue to thrive. If unhappiness and rivalry sets in, Apolyton is in trouble.
An Administrator needs to be a lot of things, but above all, he needs to be a great diplomat.

Well, a certain admin ignores tons of spam, but gives pcr for someone only for one post. Why? Because he's the admin.

I bet you this thread dies soon.
