	Newbie at CivII desires MP Game Partner Inflate your Upload Space

I'm new to the CivII MP format, but not MP in general with Turn-based games (Alpha Centauri, Alien Crossfire). Anyone want to play a MP game with a newbie CivII player? .

I have the original CivII patched up the MGE, thanks to Cedric Greene's patch. Also have ToT.

I'm glad you decided to give the MP forum a chance...

Do you have ICQ. Most of us use it to set up games. The topped thread contains players ICQ numbers. If you don't have it, you can load it for free at ICQ.com

It's not only important for setting up games... but for actually playing. It is used to pass IP addresses to fellow players and is used when technical problems occur.

Also... you should probably list the times and days you are interested in playing. It should help your response rate

If you fancy a MP game I am avalible most days... Mainly 0900-1700 and 1830-2230 GMT Monday to Friday and anytime over the weekend.

i also recommend getting icq, and in addition to posting your available times, i suggest putting your time zone in too.

Available most days. I do prefer pbem rather than ip games, I have found tcp/ip games to be more hassle and trouble than they are worth, at least in smac/smacx. Have no idea if CivII is smoother.

While we have had a few problems, most of the time, it works real well if everybody has the same version. If you haven't loaded the the latest patch, you can find it here at Apolyton.
