Hi. Support Apolyton

Hello everyone, I've had the Mac version of SMAC (no SMAC/X) for a couple of years. However, I'm new to these forums and MP in general so I want to introduce myself here, because the mac forums need more posts and I hope to start a new MP game soon with the fellow SMAC players here.

SMAC Game Startup Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

I know I can get at least one turn out a day.

I can never seem to find the right settings for a good random map , so I use the map of planet. How does this setup sound.

SMAC game:
Original factions only

Map:
Map of Planet (Unless someone else has a better idea.)

Rules:
All Victory conditions
Directed Research
Do or Die
Look First Start

Actualy I just went on a online spending spree and ordered SMAC/X. I don't know how long it will take to get here. So I thought I'd try my hand at SMAC MP while I'm waiting.

Actually instead of waiting a few days for the other Mac players to sign up. I'm going to wait for Alien Crossfire, before starting a game. I don't want to start an SMAC game and have Crossfire arrive the next day.

Currently trying to resolve disputes between OS-X and SMAX. Being an optimist, i expect that my troubles will be ver shortly, and would happily jin this game.
