Got spare money?

Oh btw, in case anyone's interested, I've got a homemade maps which fits perfectly for this kind of game. Download ahead! Standard map if I'm not mistaken, so good size for 4-5 players. A central land mass and some minor islands. But for the rest all sea. And most important: full of goodies to fight over! And yes, the Fossil Field Ridges are above -1000m. This gives them an actual use for a change...

M@ni@c:

I think you are in. If I understand RedFred correctly he bowed out of this one but may joiun another PBEM at a later stage if his stalled ones don't pick up soon:

So I think The Clone Wars II is:

Black Sunrise
Qantaga
Deimos

And to answer your question - yres, the pirates attributes, techs etc reside in all the clone factions - just the leaders, basenames and quotations are different (although you don't see the latter in PBEMs as real humans reply to your taunts, etc)

I and II will be on their way this evening.

Large map, 70% to 90% water, fast start of 3 seapods and 2 gunfoils, (so early contact probable), transcend difficulty, average everything, spoils off, random off, all victory conditions enabled except co-operative (with 4 players this avoids the 3 versus 1 ganging up), no AI

If you have any password that is near and dear to your heart, e-mail it to me at:

linfrew@aol.com

otherwise you'll get what I assign you.

Suggested standard 'Poly rules apply except for:

stockpile energy allowed in the build queue at any time
unit upgrades allowed at any time

Comments?

Googlie,

The map parameters, starting units, and rules you have proposed sound perfect.

Let the pilliaging and plundering begin!

M@ni@c:

I d/l'd the map and opened it to have a look - it is perfectly suited for a pirates type game and I'll use it at some point.

I was reluctant to use it this go round as any one could download it and see where what was what - the two Clone Wars games are set up with a hidden map and fog-of-war so no-one knows the map till they explore it.
