Well it might be interesting to "share" our first game experience from a common starting position.

Comedy of errors sort of thing.

Playing challenges in SMAC and Civ2 was more fun than simple AI bashing. Almost, kinda, sorta like multiplay.

hmm, i'll be participating in comparison games (those are great for finding out what works and what doesn't and why) but not at first. i want to enjoy the game in my own way for a few games at first before i start doing things like that.

OK, here's what I'll do. I am going to start my first game on the 180 world map and play as the Germans on the Prince level. All 16 civs are invited to take part. Should be interesting with the French, Romans and Russians on my flanks and the English across the channel. I do not expect to survive to the end, but I'll try. I will note down what happened, however few, or many, turns and post it.

That's it really.

Oh, and I am going to do the tutorial first...

Thats my plan for when i get Civ 3, exactly. Unfortunately i have to wait till 19 Nov
