	Play scenary Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I recently downloaded a scenary, set in Tolkien's Middle-earth. I would play this, but few options wouldn't work. The only reason I can guess, is that I haven't got the Scenary-CD of Civ2. Is here a patch for?

What is a Scenary? Do you mean Scenario? What version of Civ2 are you using?

Most of the scenarios out there require the Fantastic Worlds CD. There is a patch that updates your version to version 2.7 which is the one coming with FW at: www.microprose.com
You won't get the scenarios and propably not the editors, but I think that you can get at least the scenarios from someone else if you really want them.

I think this is a really nice link, and when I try to download '278.zip', Ican't connect to the server with Netscape, and so I can't download it. Is there an other site or place?

Now I have an other problem. When I trie to play the WWIII scenario, he says I have an older version, and the loading aborts. What am I doing wrong?

I have an other little question: if I want to create a scenario of my own, can I do this with the 'updated' version? I tried to create cities, but I can't create wonders and I can't rename other civilization names.

I almost hate to interupt the monologue, but to answer your question about the WWIII scenario, you can't play it even with the Fantastic Worlds patch (2.7) because this scenario was made with the Multiplayer patch.

I know the error messages by now. It used to be "File not saved game" which caused people headaches.
