	Just feel like criticizing the Apolyton "News" Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Hmm... A little ramble in this thread.

Yes it seems that there is an Apolyton "News" section for the SMAC forum. Then how comes it never ever mentioned Smack and his most brilliant mod ever? I mean, a whole TEAM was working on it, taking ages to figure out the AI, making it just a tad bit smarter , beta-testing, sharing what needs to be done and why... A great deal of team work.

Now, it is talking about Tres's UPCOMING startrek mod. (Not that I have anything against ya Tres, I am just using you as an example sorry) I mean, IT ISN'T EVEN FINISHED YET! And the Aldebaron mod has been there for ages now, up and running, with it's own website. The "News" didn't talk about it when the beta-testing started nor when the mod was finally completed. And you can see what a large thread there is in the Creation forum if you bother to do a search.

Also no mention about the Velocyrix's Tortue Mod, whose thread I saw but never actually visited - was too busy. And even now I still don't know whether it is finished, which probably others didn't know about Aldebaron, and did Velocyrix put it up on a website for others to see and download, like Smack (or Avenoct) did.

So Apolyton News, just what kind of "news" are you? Hm?

well, i'm knowing MarkG of apolyton for some years. he is not the man who ignores interesting news.
cyber, did you ever sent a news bulletin or info about your stuff to him? if not, jut do it - i'm sure he will post any facts you have.

btw, my star trek : ds9 total conversion (german version) is in beta test phase. i just need time to replace all the english smac vocabulary with trek stuff (pretty exhausting)

but please dont expect us to be on alert on everything that goes on in a forum with 2000-3000 new posts every day

Well, you noticed this thread , which is quite nice.

MarkG, so will the Apolyton News put up an announcement about the Aldebaron and the Torture Mod? (Velocyrix and Smack, please post something about your mods HERE)

Tres, good luck with your mod! Can't wait to enjooy the graphical galore

My own mod, Ultramind is about 60% complete. I will post it in a couple of weeks or after Tres' mod is up and running...
