The game has begun. Exploration minimal at this time, though I see energy bonuses. Turn sent to ghoti

Peering in the darkness, Indra stared at the screen.
"Lord Icewind, come in. Lord Icewind, this is Unity-4. Come in. Is there anyone out there? Sir, do you want me to keep trying?"
"Hmmmm. It seems that the powers that were in place on the Unity are not the powers that have made it to the surface. Well, it matters not. Send the broadcast to whomever is out there."

That gaian has misplaced the message. It simply must be sent to @yahoo, since the @home system is currently useless and messages aren't getting through.

Call the CEO, some more worms have been sighted.
He doesn't like to be waked unless there is serious danger. Are they coming this way?
Unclear. They are on the extreme edge of our sensors. Some of our scouts are damaged and running back to safety.
The board isn't going to like this. How can we increase sales with the threat of those bloody worms in everyone's minds.
Maybe we should consider an increase in weapons manufacturing and advertising. We're bound to see an increase there.
Very well. I'll inform the CEO after his morning manicure.

2105 to Black Sunrise.
Sergent James Terrenian eased his rover into the garage at Sparta Command.
The mechanic walked over to the vehicle. "Well, let's see what we have here." He began to open the hood... and experienced a feeling of dread. "Whoah!" he shouted, as he let the hood slam down and jumped back.
"It must be what I thought," the sergent commented.
The mechanic swore. "Why didn't you warn me?!"
"Well, I wasn't sure. We were attacked by the mindworm boil out on the road. I thought we'd toasted them all, but then the engine started acting funny. Thought I'd take it in."
"Yeah yeah, more likely, wanted to put one over on a civilian." He sighed, then shouted. "Benny! Get the worm toxin! We've got a live one down here!"
