H0bbes, you completed the Command Nexus in 2180. This is a delayed, redundant announcement, or cites the wrong project?

Move on to "D"
I am editing this note after it was brought to my attention that I forgot to post the call for election of the Governorship. My apologies!
Anyway, I have called an election for the governship of Planet. I would appreciate your support.
If any of you would to redo the last move since I failed to properly post the call, I have no objections.

So what ever happened to the rule about posting and mailing for council callings, anyway?

Good question. In another game (Clone Wars) I made the mistake of calling an election without giving a one turn notice, for which I was chastised by SITS for violating Apolyton Rules. After looking at the Rules thread I could not find a reference to having to declare one turn in advance your intent to call an election, and I asked SITS to locate this rule for me, which he was unable to do, per the below postings:
http://apolyton.net/forums/showthre...25&pagenumber=5
Prior to my recalling this, why I had E-Mailed Radman earlier today and stated that he was breaking Apolyton Rules for not posting a one turn declaration that he intended to call an election, and he responded the same as I had previously, which was, "Show me", and after reviewing the Rules thread once more, I could not locate anything about this rule: if anyone can locate this aspect of the rules, then please inform both of us for future reference. However, I think that we should all agree to declare one turn in advance our intent to declare an election in the immediate future: the subtleties and inuendo that then occur are some of the best aspects of the game! What does everyone think?

I don't want and won't accept a one turn prior notification.
What I expect is that whoever calls a council for whatever reason should broadcast that fact immediately upon completion of his turn.
No replay is necessary in this case. Obviously, there had been prior collusion between Darsnan and Radman. (because in my previous turn, Radman lacked all the commlinks to be able to call an election) No offer I could have made, even with the receipt of timely notification of election, would have been sufficient to break Darsnan from that collusive effort.

No funny business as far as game rules are concerned, I'll grant you.
What is funny is that I offered to make you governor six turns ago for a tech and a crawler. What did you have to pay Darsnan, I wonder?
