	What is up with AMAZON? Support Apolyton

Ok ok, please don't laugh, people who already have Civ... This is for the poor hapless souls like me who foolishly asked Amazon to ship their Civ3.

Amazon said that Civ3 would arrive November 1st, but they STILL have not emailed me confirming shipment. And when I checked my order tracking, it said it still hadn't shipped yet.

is this also happening for other fellow amazon-ers?

Preordering online is one of the biggest scams out there. You pay more for shipping than you would for tax at the store, and you don't even get it until an unknown time after the game comes out. This happens all the time, just about every popular new game.

Whenever possible it's always better to put down $10 at EB to have them hold you a copy.

I'm not too happy that amazon still hasn't shipped my order. I'm at college anyway, in ewing, so i'm not getting any mail here with the whole terrorist thing. I hoped it'd be home when I got there friday, but if it doesn't ship tomorrow I'm just gonna cancel it and run out and get it over the weekend. Good luck to everybody else with it.

Today I received an e-mail saying that they've shipped my order, and that it will arrive in 2-6 days (average). Oh joy!! And yes, I live in Europe, so it seems that there will be no problems because of that.

Same with me. Amazon originally estimated delivery date of 11/1. Now it's 11/5.

I think they heard my plan because now they say they're preparing it for shipping and I can't change my order... Guess I'm gonna have to just hope it gets there soon.

Hello, first time poster, long time reader.

I pre-ordered the LE on October 13. When I checked my order status with Amazon yesterday, I noticed that the updated ship date had been changed from Oct 31 to "November 5-9." That was kind of a bummer, I thought. Then today, I got an email saying that it had shipped. Go figure.

i got a message that said mine shipped too, i was getting pretty worried about it. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow and I'll be able to get going with it. Good luck again to everyone thats still waiting
