I'll correct your first mistakes 
"sentencia" means juridical sentence, the correct translation for "sentence" is "frase".
In spanish, almost every word with an "a" as the last character is femenine: you should say "la sencencia" or, in this case, "la frase"
The infinitive verbal form has no preposition before. "To translate" is not "a traducir" but "traducir".
And "to take" has no sense in spanish when talking about time. Yo should have said "Me ocupa" or, quite better, "Tardo... en".
Editing:  OOPS! I forgot it: I was wrong, "To take" can be translated as "tomar" when talking about time: it's unused in Spain, but very used in Latin America. It's correct and you can use it, sorry for my mistake. As you see, it's almost impossible to completely understand the spanish language, because there are too many people using it and too sepparated.
So the correct sentence would have been:
"Tardo media hora en traducir una frase"
(As I do with english posts  )
But it also would have been correct (not in Spain, but...):
"Me toma media hora traducir una frase"
It's difficult to believe you've made so many mistakes in just a sentence, isn't it? Don't worry, you will improve. And, if you want, you can correct us when we write in english.
