Well, I think I just offically finished my first game. To tell you the truth, the end game sort of dragged on, I wasn't having nearly as fun with it as I did with the rest of the game. Then again, I was the super-power of the world by 1550AD.

There was one thing though that really disappointed me. The AI seems to like Democracies, which made using propaganda impossible.

Back to civ, I think I'll play Warlord this time

And what about the victory movie? Is there any? Is it cool? For how long it runs? (I remember CTP2... Building that anti-pollution apparatus for ages, planting obelisks, etc, only for a 20 seconds victory movie...

There was no victory movie for cultural victory.
However, the "victory screen" is probably reward enough.

I do believe however that there is one for winning the Space Race, but talking from the experince of having gone through the modern era, it will be *VERY* hard to achieve that type of victory. It's very difficult to get to the end of the tech tree by 2050, much less finish it up and have time to build your spacecraft. You'll have to try to save your golden age for the Modern Era if you want a chance at it (and probably have the industrious trait).

Civ3 will be released here in Brazil only on mid-November... As I gathered through the news...

What about Argentina? Do you have a release date for Civ3 in your country?

CygnusZ: Hello! Haven´t you tried to sniff around the CD directories...? Maybe you could find the ending movie for the Space Race Victory... If there is one...
