I'd like to thank the moderators and the owners for having a message board period. I think you guys are getting alot of negative and unjustified knocks over the influx of new posters/lurkers. I think you're doing a GREAT job.
To everyone else: I agree with Hoek. stop whining (i say this with the upmost love in my heart). You know, you shoud be thankful that you have a place like this to go period. Most boards arn't so nice and if you'd look around, the moderators bend over backwards to make people happy here. This could be a straight poly site...no community included. There are STILL many many other forums here to post on, as well as FFZ and ACOL. You guys need to understand that CIv 3 was just released and this is common. It WILL die down and you just need to be patient. It's just like what happens on band boards when a new CD is released. It always dies down. If it annoys you that you can't get on and you find yourself getting frustrated, take my advice (advice that i got from the wise SUPER SNEAK about my lack of life and my whining about it): go get a life! go find something else to do while you wait. that way, there's less clogging and the OT will open up sooner. Or better yet, go play civ 3. I think you shoul be more appreciative of what you have...don't take such a great place for granted.
