	How do you contact Civ when playing with more than 8? Put an end to popups!

Hope this helps. From the readme:


* When playing a game with more than 8 civilizations, you can assign specific civilizations to specific slots on the foreign advisor. Shift+Right-Click on the slot you want to change and select the civilization.

As you can tell I'm lazy and am to busy playing to read up on it. Found the hot key reference in the Civilopedia tho which is great.

I don't have my copy of the game yet (thanks a lot, Amazon... ) so I don't have the instruction manual. Question... you can play with more than 8 civs??? I didn't realize that was going to be possible. What's the max??? All 16?

Another thing you can do.
In the lower right corner box, there are those four small boxes

[D]
[E]
[P]
[H]

at the far right. They stand for

[D]iplomacy
[E]spionage
[P]alace
[H]istograph

Click on [D]. This gives you a list of civs in the game, noting which you are peace or war with. This can be useful if you want to be at peace with everyone on a 16-civ map, or if you have any other reason to cycle through all the civs.

Not sure if this is the same as the Shift-D menu Auslander mentioned.
