I have been reading some of the posts here and why is it when someone says anything negative about Civ 3 they are whiners. They have good and valid reasons to complain. A crappy LE version, no mp, lousy editor etc.

They are right. Game is good but the complaints are valid and the people shouldnt be called whiners.

What would you do if you bought a car and the tires fell off? Just wait for the Patch(tow truck) and not complain? YEAH right.

These people are not whiners. If Sid is going to live off his name the game should have nocked our socks off and it didnt. Fraxis even hyped it up as much so they deserve the flack.

Is there any official comment from fraxis for Civ 3 the way it is? I mean the way its shipped, without the stuff promised? If so please tell me where so i can read it.

I feal like playing CTP2 and Diablo expansion pack all over again.

Always the patch later.

what are you talking about? Civ 3 rocks!!

It offers much more deep strategy compared to Civ 2...

Why does it have to be patched? If you don't like the combat, you can jus change the units using the editor. You do know how to use the editor, right?

ComputerEnginee, play through a complete game and you'll come up against some glaring bugs.

The biggest one is that air superiority does not work for human players, but there are other, minor in comparison but needlessly hassling bugs as well.
