Does the library and university still give a 50% bonus? If so, what is getting the 50% boost? I know using scientist speciallist doesnt do much (its better to just generate the happiness or commerce), but i was curious so I could calculate the cost benefit of the maintaince/time versus the science bonus.

I haven't found anywhere where I can see how many beakers there are in a given city (or civ) anyway...
