	Australia EB says Tuesday morning Support Apolyton, buy Call to Power 2

Hi,

My wife phoned EB today (since I kept complaining about it not being out) and they've said they've received it and will release it tomorrow. That's in Canberra, so TOMORROW IS THE DAY.

Yeah, same goes for EB here in New Zealand.

Looks like NZ and Aus will get the game at the same time (barring time differences).

I called around in Sydney. EB said that this morning their release date moved up to tomorrow, but that they (Chatswood, Burwood) haven't received their supplies in today's shipment. Because of that they're not hopeful about receiving it until tomorrow afternoon (if then - more probably on Wednesday afternoon).

The Gamesmen have given a flat date of 19/11. Apparently further negotiations will not be entered into.

Rang around to 1 harvey norman, 2 EB and 1 games wizard at 5pm today and not a single one had yet recieved a copy of civ3. Anyone going to canberra can grab me a copy . Star posting in the morning lads to locate copies and let us all know.

I rang Harvey Norman (Hardly Normal - joke, they were very helpful) today and they said that their suppliers (OziSoft) had got it in today and will have it tomorrow (Tuesday 13/11). Can't wait - now to sort that pack of useless oxygen theives that call themselves Yahoo.
BTW - who are EB?

EB= Electonics Boutique, which is a major games retailer. The main ones in sydney are EB, Harvey Norman and games wizards I think

Went into the EB in the south of Canberra yesterday afternoon (5pm) to try and wheedle if they had it in store and could release it a little early He told me that it had arrived at the shippers depot in canberra yesterday and that it would arrive in the 10:30 delivery and advised me to come in after 12:00 (lunch time) so I'll post when I get back from that trip Of course our NZ friends will be posting first.

Don't you just hate it when you read all the posts from civers around the globe and hear what they have to say about th game and then call your retailer and have them tell you they have no idea where the game is. In perth there used to be a reatailer called POPCORN and they had a TINY shop in place with no parking and only one staff member on duty. But if you called them and asked about a games release they would know and they would hound the suppliers until they got it FIRST and then they would call you and say the delivery truck is about to arrive so come on over and get your game. Compare that to Harvey Norman. Sorry sir but that game is due out next month, and we will only let you know if you come down with a deposit and then only notify you the day after it comes in. Ahh the good old days in perth. Got two days off today and tomorrow and I bet the game will come in tomorrow afternoon "late". kay sera sera. Keep posting people so we can find this thing before I return to work.

Ah, well - I guess it's EB, then. They called me (just) too late to catch a train out to Chatswood and back for a 1:00 meeting. I'll need to see if I can slope off out of work early to pick it up before they close. If I can't I won't be able to get it until Thursday Night
