I hope I'm just missing something, but I've searched the manual and these forums. I don't claim to be a master-programmer, but I imagine implementing ironman is right up there in difficulty with having a toggle to turn off sound. Possibly easier. Why would such a nifty feature (which you don't have to use if you don't want to) be lacking after it so prominently fun-ified SMAC? Or is there some way to turn it on secretly?
