While a lot of people *did* acquire HIV through irresponsible acts, don't forget those who got it in the '80's from contanimated blood supplies, and those in subshara Africa who were r'aped, etc.

(Yes, I do think in most cases in 1st world countries HIV is mostly acquired through irresponsible actions, but not all.)

all i'm saying is that this bombing isn't going to stop the terrorism; at best, it's going to hold them at bay for a few years.

even if we didn't bomb them, something like 11 sept 2001 isn't going to happen for a long time. showing force here and not showing force here yield the same result.

but listen to me here: i'm not saying that we shouldn't bomb al-qaeda. we should.

i'm just saying that terrorist organizations are like weeds. if not al-qaeda, it'll be someone else. there's not much you can do about that.
