When I first got Carriers in my very first game, I was very happy. It was during a war with some other civilization (France, I believe), and I knew I'd get the upper hand by bombarding their puny little cities.
So I loaded my Bombers onto the Carriers, and ship them over there. Then I find out that the Bombers WON'T get off the Carriers. I try clicking on their little pictures, tried unloading, tried everything. There is no option for Bombing Mission when you select a bomber that's currently on a Carrier.
So how the heck do I get 'em off the Carrier?!

Right click the carrier and select to wake or activate the particular bomber...
I do think you should be able to select it from the icon on the bottom right...gameplay testing, gameplay testing!!!

), but I'd guess, purely based on what GNGSpam said, right-click on the carrier and choose "activate..." for whichever bomber you want to use.
