	Newbie question about mods Help yourself to an AD-FREE life

I wanna do my own modding for Civ3. Never done anything like this before. How do you do it?

Is there any site where I can find tips on how to do this?

Namely I would like to increase firepower and defense rating for modern weaponry.

Not that I don't like the current settings, it's just that I want to have fun mercilessly obliterating one civilization after another... and I don't want to wait for other people to make the mod I like.

You can edit the unit values in the editor that comes with the game. There is an (ok) help file that comes with it. Take a look at it, and if you're still mystified, I'd recommend throwing a question into the Files forum (though here would probably draw a response as well.)
